Strengthening Health Data Governance in Africa: A Consultation on the development of an African Common Position
HELINA, Africa CDC and Transform Health are convening a regional stakeholder consultation to gather wide insights and expertise, learn from national approaches and best practices, and identify existing norms, standards and principles, to feed into the development of an African common Position on Health Data Governance.
The session will also introduce stakeholders to the Africa CDC flagship initiative on health data governance, including its objective to develop an African Common Position to build county consensus around a model set of regulations to govern the collection and use of health data.
The consultation will take place in person on the 2nd of November at 13:00-15:00 at the South African Medical Research Council / Conference Center, Cape Town as part of the HELINA 2023 Conference. Please click the following link and complete this registration form to join the consultation.
